Nonjabulo Promise Mzobe

Founder · Young Farmer & Agripreneur · Ozwathini, KwaZulu-Natal

Nonrican Agri-Farm is a South African agricultural enterprise founded in 2024 by Nonjabulo Promise Mzobe, a 30-year-old young farmer and agripreneur based in Myelela Area, Ozwathini, KwaZulu-Natal.

Driven by a passion for agriculture, sustainable food production, and rural economic development, Nonjabulo established Nonrican Agri-Farm with a vision of building a productive and sustainable agricultural business that contributes to food security, creates economic opportunities, and supports community development.

The farm focuses on crop production, cultivating a variety of vegetables and other agricultural crops suited to local growing conditions. It embraces learning, experimentation, and sustainable farming practices to improve productivity, strengthen resilience, and explore opportunities for business growth and market expansion.

As a young woman in agriculture, Nonjabulo is committed to demonstrating that farming is a viable business opportunity for young people and an important driver of rural development. Her vision is to expand Nonrican Agri-Farm into a diversified agricultural enterprise incorporating crop production, poultry farming, seedling production, and modern agricultural infrastructure.

Nonrican Agri-Farm aims to contribute to local food systems, improve access to fresh produce, support job creation, and inspire the next generation of farmers. Through determination, continuous learning, and a commitment to sustainable growth, the business seeks to turn agricultural opportunities into lasting economic and social value.
